Clinton Praises Turkish Ties

February 11th, 2008 by

Some may have thought that Hillary Clinton’s backpedaling on the Genocide resolution back in October or appointment of Turkish ultra-nationalist fundraiser Mehmet Celebi as one of her delegates to the Democratic Convention wasn’t quite enough to make her suspect in the eyes of Armenians and anti-genocide activists. After all, she is still a co-sponsor of the Armenian Genocide resolution in the U.S. Senate, right?

Well, now it seems that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, is seeking to end all doubt on where Mrs. Clinton actually stands. In a recent interview with the Turkish daily Sabah, Bill said the following: “Turkey is a very significant country for us. We need to have good relations with Turkey. The biggest contribution to this will come from Hillary. There will be great progress in relations if Hillary is elected.”

He went on to thank the many Turks who “contribute a lot to Hillary’s election campaign” and assured readers that relations with Turkey will prosper under a Hillary administration.

I’m glad the truth has come out about Hillary. Both she and Obama (a born Muslim) will stregthen our ties with Turkey. Neither have the courage to stand up to the Turkish threats to have US soldiers leave Turkey, should we vote in favor of the Genocide Resolution. I believe McCain has the stregth and dignity to stand up to these cowards.

Politics make strange bedfellows, it’s a sad day for Armenians in America.
McCain a rebublican…we’re all aware of how the republicans dealt with the Armenian Genocide issue. Hillary will sway to the side from which the wind blows. Obama is Pandora’s box we don’t know what will come out once it’s opened.

I have no respect for any Senator, Congressman/woman, Bush and his administration and both Clintons who lower themselves and pander to Turkish politics and pressure. Not only Armenians but the whole world witnesses the true carachter all these individuals have and the feelings they express towards genocide, past and present.

I repeat, word for word what James has said above. I will only add to say that there is an Almighty God and that all those sinners who contradict history, facts & archives and disclaim the Ottoman Empire’s Genocide of 1.5 million Arminians will be punished and perish in hell.

I CONCURR WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE COMMENTS REGARDING THE DIRTY POLITICS AND INHUMANE HANDLING OF MORE THAN 1.5 ARMENIAN INFANTS, GIRLS, BOYS, WOMEN, MEN, RELIGIOUS, BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS LIVING PEACEFULY IN THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE.

As long as the US and Turkey are allies the Armenian Genocide will be on the back burner. Any of these presidential candidates will not rock the boat with Turkey, since Armenia has nothing that the US lusts for.
Therefore Armenians living in the US should unite and force their hand at the next election.
It’s a crime that leaders of the free world (US) have taken Barbarians (turks) under their wings.
All Genocides are a crime against humanity and should be dealt with as such.

Hillary has no backbone, she’ll change her colours like a camillion. The US is headed for disaster, none of these candidates can pull a rabbit out of a hat.
Bush will go down in history as the president who burried America singlehandedly.
